Boys and girls are invited to register to play AFL with Drummoyne Power Junior AFL – the season runs from April to mid-August. The Club has a great community spirit – is inclusive – and the emphasis is always on fun, fitness and performance. We have teams for children turning five in 2025 right through to U17 (boys) and U18 (Youth Girls).
In-season, all teams train on Wednesdays and play on Saturdays as Drummoyne Power in the following groups:
Our U11-U18 youth girls and U12-U17 boys play on Sundays with our Youth Club, the Canada Bay Cannons.
Our pre-season kicks off from March at Five Dock Park. Every week is an opportunity to reconnect with your friends, connect with your new club and bring a friend for a kick. See dates and times below:

Girls are eligible to play in the regular competition until U14 (based on federal sport policy). After 15 years old, girls must play in a Youth Girls-only competition.
Even if you are playing for the Cannons, you still register with Drummoyne Power as your home club.
Please claim your Active Kids Voucher BEFORE making payment. We are unable to apply it retrospectively. Please find details on the Service NSW website.
Drummoyne Power is offering optional merchandise, available through the new registration site. This off-field gear is optional only. You are not required to purchase.

All players must register online through the Play HQ system. You will be asked if you are registering as for Auskick – your little legend turns 5, 6, 7 or 8 in 2025. Or as a junior, U9 and above. If you are eligible to play for the Cannons (U10-U18YG or U12-U17 boys), that will happen automatically.
For insurance purposes all players MUST be registered and paid before they can train or play.
