Under 8 White v U8 Black: Match Report Round 5

U8 Drummoyne White Match Report

Opposition: U8 Drummoyne Black, Round 5, Picken Oval

It was another intra-club blockbuster with the U8 Drummoyne White and Black teams both representing the Power tradition to the best of their abilities.

Zac kicked the day off with a great attempt at a goal and throughout the day provided fantastic support for his power team mates.

Milan was brilliant at handballing to team mates and was always looking to pass to his team mates.

Max, as always, demonstrating good running down the win with some very strong marking on display throughout the game.

Harry was his usual “rock solid” in defence and has really shown a strong ability to play in the fullback position.

Jesse, kicked one of the goals of the round with a superb kick that brought smiles to the faces of his team mates.

George spent the match hunting for goals and his efforts were best demonstrated via a great handstand!

Lucas was strong on defence but also was adept when he went forward. Ethan has a great burst through the pack and was also consistent with his handballs throughout the match.  Ethan found a lot of the ball and was also quick on the “no-look” hand pass.

Callum was always determined to get the ball and was a great role model for the boys in tenacity.

Conclusion

The match was played in the true Drummoyne tradition and it was great to see both teams come together to sing the team song.
